GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) is a fibre optic access technology that delivers fast, reliable broadband across large sites using a shared passive fibre infrastructure. A single fibre connection from the network core is passively split to serve lodges, caravans, apartments or commercial buildings, reducing infrastructure costs while providing high-performance connectivity with minimal maintenance.

Fibre enters your site at a single Optical Line Terminal (OLT). This central hub manages all data traffic and serves as the starting point for your park-wide network.
Using unpowered (passive) optical splitters, the signal is shared across multiple lodges. This eliminates the need for active electronics in outdoor cabinets, increasing reliability.
Fibre optic cable connects directly to the lodge’s Optical Network Unit (ONU), delivering symmetrical gigabit speeds for seamless streaming and smart park features.
